Okay so I have been given a project at work which requires calling various companies that supply internet access to businesses and finding out if they service various locations we have and if they do, set up installs. Because of the nature of what we want to do with the connection, we need something very fast. So we're starting out with Verizon to see if we can get FIOS. I have been on hold for the SALES department for almost an hour now. Okay, I can kinda understand long hold times for tech support seeing as they already have your money so why bother with any decent kind of customer service.

But sales?? And for businesses no less to be kept on hold like this. I mean, dude, I am wanting to give you money! And not just a little either. We're talking possibly 16 separate locations your service could be installed.

Unbelievable.

And what sucks out loud even more.... I have to go to the bathroom and if I hang up, I go back to the beginning of the queue. Ugh!
