In the 1993-4 period, Brock worked a minimum-wage job (while presumably still receiving money from the government) at a lumberyard near Kingman, AZ where he met and worked alongside future Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. Brock quickly grew tired of listening to McVeigh's endless bullshiting about gun-control, white supremacy, and America's general decline. Brock stopped showing up to work after McVeigh mentioned that he should join him on a secret mission to uncover Area 51's secrets. Around the same time, Brock was forced to to hitch up and move his trailer for the first time in years, because a mysterious person or persons began testing homemade explosives right over the hill from his doorstep. Brock never reported this disturbance to the authorities. He maintained a low profile because the move required him to drive into town under cover of night to steal four tires to replace those missing from his trailer.
