About
Delusional Holiday is a band hailing from Visalia, CA. They were formed by the two founding members Derek Phines (drums) and Tanner Brian (guitar, vocals). They started out playing around with music and it became a few songs. They liked making music and thought that their first song was good so they made an EP and sold it to their friends at school. Then Tanner recruited Iain Scott (lead guitar) and Chas Bailey (techno, keyboard, second guitar) to play in the band. They were still in need of another singer so they were more than happy when Christian Carlton (vocals) asked to join the band. They are currently working on their deput album Car Crash with D3lusi0nal Records. On November 2, 2007 Chas Bailey was let out of the band and Reed Booker took his place on the bass. Tanner says "It was nothing against him and we're still really good friends. He was just having a few problems here and there that were distracting him so we let him go." On November 14, 2007 Derek Phines left the band. Tanner comments "I was actually sorta pissed off about it. He hadn't been helping with music, lyrics or recording. He just didn't do anything. Then I went to his MySpace and read that he was trying to start a band with a guitar player he hadn't heard yet! I was thinking 'He's leaving us for a guitar player he hasn't heard yet? That's pretty f***ed up.' But we're over it now. Now Reed and I play the drums for recording. We're actually thinking about doing singing not screaming on some songs. Maybe even some Fall Out Boy or Blink-182 covers. You know more Punk Rock than Screamo."
