FaceTheFront was founded in fall 2006 in the city of Lucerne and the four bandmembers played together since 2004, in the beginning using a different bandname, playing on a secret mission in various venues throughout the country. All in all, they played in their old formation as a five piece group over 25 concerts which made their popularity grow, especially in their hometown. Since the style of making music and the preference to different music-genres changed during the years, the band was looking forward to a new beginning. A new bandname and a new set were born, which matched their ideas. The new punkrock band was immediately initiated. In March 2007 FaceTheFront recorded three songs in the „Schweine Sound Studios“ at „Sedel“ in Lucerne. They published them as the single „Kickstart“ on the label of sumsRecords. More to come!
BIOGRAFIE DEUTSCH:
FaceTheFront wurde im Herbst 2006 in Luzern gegründet und besteht aus vier Mitgliedern, welche schon seit 2004 zusammen musizieren, jedoch vorerst noch unter anderem Namen auf geheimer Mission durch die Klubs der Nation waren. Mit der ehemaligen Formation wurden bereits über 25 Konzerte in der ganzen Schweiz gespielt. Da sich aber die Besetzung und der Musikstil der Band änderten, sehnte man sich nach einem Neuanfang und entschloss gemeinsam den Bandnamen zu ändern, sowie ein brandneues Set zu schreiben, welches den Vorstellungen einer jungen, motivierten Punkband entspricht. Im März 2007 wurden drei dieser Songs in den Schweine Sound Studios im Sedel aufgenommen und werden demnächst als Single unter dem Titel „Kickstart“ auf sumsRecords veröffentlicht. More to come!
