Ch-Ch-Check-a-check it out!
Hello RecCenter, this is Abdon. I am having a great time down here in California. After I finished my drum parts the first week, I haven't had much to do besides hang out. Earlier this week...
Greetings from LA everyone!! We just started week two of recording and things are going really well...
Hey everyone!
As you've noticed, we've been pretty busy in the studio, and pretty absent on the updates! We're making amazing progress and are very excited about this record! We will be updating more frequently for the next couple weeks, so keep checking back here.
That starting next week we will begin recording our debut full-length record in LA with producer Mark Hoppus from +44 (formerly of Blink-182)! We cannot tell you how excited we are about this. It's Mark Hoppus! If for some strange reason you are not familiar with either +44 or Blink-182 go out and buy any of their records NOW and you'll know why we're so stoked. Good times and good songs are ahead for sure. While we're living out a dream in CA for the next couple of weeks we will make sure to keep you informed of all the action, so check back often for exclusive in studio updates you can only find here.
xoxo,
Feverclub: Andrea, Eric, Nick, and Abdon
p.s. We're Feeling This.
To all our friends:
We have to change our name! It's been a great run for us with "THE LOOK", and we will miss the name very much, but as it turns out there was a "The Look" before us who have come forward and politely asked us to stop all use of the name. Because of this, we are asking for your help! Throw us some ideas of what you think our new name should be! Who knows? Maybe we'll end up being a name that you thought of!
All is well over here, the sun is setting a little bit sooner everyday, so we are rushing to finish wrapping up writing/reworking songs as we prepare to enter the studio this month. But that's another whole other story I will share with you all later!

Eric's list of planned activities over the summer
We finished up our first week of recording today. It was very productive. Ab wrapped up his drum tracks on Thursday morning and we started right in on tracking guitars, bass, and synths. I've had the honor of using "Lettuce," Mark's green bass used on the last three Blink records and the +44 record, to do a few bass tracks. I'm in love with the sounds we've been getting. Eric took care of a few synth parts today that sound amazing. Just How I Like It, We Are Electric, and This Is How We Shake are getting very close to completion. We still have a lot of work to do though. We are up in Pismo Beach for the weekend. I need a haircut. I'm going to try and drag myself away from boogie boarding and romantic moonlit strolls on the beach to resolve this issue before the weekend is over. Hopefully I can afford a hair cut as I accidentally bought $53 worth of sushi for lunch today. If you ever order sushi without consulting a menu make sure you ask how man pieces come in a roll. I have enough sushi to keep me nourished until we get home.
