About

It's weird, I can write songs non-stop but when it comes to this biography I'm completely stumped. I guess I'll start off with my journey to get here, where I am today. When I was 11 I got my first acoustic guitar. I'll be the first to admit, it sounded ridiculous. I was horrible. I got frustrated and I put the guitar down multiple times. My grandmother decided for me to get lessons with a friend of hers. I didn't learn much from the one lesson I took, but I got so much from it. He sat there and played for over an hour straight, completely zoning out. It was such an inspiration to see how much he had loved to play. I went home and I learned some chords and I played until my hands were calloused over. From that point, I dabbled in little two piece bands with my best friend. Around 14 I had my first real band experience and I loved it. Like the previous projects, it had soon ended. I started to get discouraged like I did when I was younger. I decided I would start playing alone and right after that decision I was asked to play at a school poetry event. All the other kids read poems or showed posters but I played and when I played everyone stopped and listened. That was the first time I really felt the adrenaline of playing live and I instantly fell in love with this. I strictly remember walking out of the room saying,

'Wow, I could really do this for a living.'

With a new enthusiasm, I wrote for a few years, and started playing small shows. My music started to grow and I started to evolve into something more than I imagined. I also got more involved in the music scene itself. I started to put together concerts, and make friends with bands from all over. I got more people to love what I was doing and even had a few people sing back to me, which is a complete dream come true. It was odd for me because the songs I was making actually meant something to people, and they still do. In a few months, I'll be recording and after that I'll make the rounds, and send out demos. I am determined to share my music to everyone. I hope you listen, and I hope you like it.
