Im from Pennsylvania and for most of my life ive been known as the "Tomboy". Ive always been athletic and ive never been afraid to play with the boys. Right now i play ice hockey and soccer, but id love to add lacrosse to the mix too. Music has always been in my life, and when i was little i usually listened to whatever gospel music my parents were listening to, just b/c it was all i knew. When i was 5 (i think) i fell in love with the pop-scene and boy bands and whatever else was in then. Then when i was like 9 i fell in love with Avril Lavigne, and that was sort of like the beginning of my music rebellion. I fell in love with rock music because of its passion and raw emotion and who would have thought that Avril would have led me to all these other amazing bands. Blindside has been my favorite band for over 2 and a half years, and its amazing that ive loved them for so long, i usually only like bands for a couple months. Not bad for a band that i first heard of by accident. :P Also my latest favorite band is Paramore. Im so addicted to them and i dont know why cause i usually hate female singers. Ice hockey is the love of my life!! Ive been so addicted to that too over the past...i think 4 years now. Hockey wasnt something that was seen in my household. Only my mom liked it, and even then she never got to see it cause my dad and brother are too busy watching football and basketball during the hockey season. Hockey was something i discovered on my own, and after the first time i saw it i fell in love with it. And i still am, and ive always been a Flyers fan since day one of my hockey obssession. Some of my favorite Flyers include Mike Richards, Sami Kapanen, Kimmo Timonen, Jeff Carter, Scottie Upshall, Lasse Kukkonen, and Antero Niittymaki. And some of my favorites around the NHL are Teemu Selanne, Rick Nash, Jussi Jokinen, Henrik Zetterberg, the Sedin twins, and Martin Brodeur (even tho he's the enemy). What can i say, i love my Finnish players. :P :D Theyre so cute!!! Okay enough of the hockey talk... Ive always been a good student in school, i was at the top of my class in public school. But when i switched to private school i wasnt used to having the amount of work that i got so it took me a couple of years to finally figure out how to handle a heavy workload. Since the 7th grade ive had high honors every marking period and i was on the National Junior Honor Society for 2 years. I may be inducted again this year, but i dont know if i will be. Right now im a sophmore in high school, and its been soooo hard cause i get so much homework. There is a HUGE difference between freshman and sophmore year at my school!
