  I just started another tour in Limerick last night with a great
  artist from Alabama called Jason Isbell and his ass kicking band
  the 400unit. He is ex drive by truckers front man. And he now has a
  van... with a band and we’re coming to get you and to quote Jason
  ’melt your faces’.
 
  The gig was intimate and relaxed and we made full use of the pour
  your own Guinness promotion keg they had in the bar. I played my
  song Irish rain last night and it hasn’t stopped blinking raining
  since....
 
  But Now I’m on the train from Limerick to Cork surrounded by
  grassiest of fields green and some sun spring.
 
  Not too many funny stories as yet a part from my missing my plane in
  London yesterday after getting up at 5am and having to sleep on my
  guitar case . They were 6 exquisite hours of existence I can assure
  you.
 
 
  The music on this tour will rock your socks and so if you are near
  any of the shows or you have friends nearby let them know we’re
  coming to town. Its a real word of mouth tour this one.
 
  Well here’s to some quiet music  clean hotels and early nights for
  the next month.... Rock on and see you soon.
