For the past couple weeks, I've been setting up what is to be a small-time design group, going under the name of Mind Over Designs. Currently, there is a MySpace set up for the project at: http://www.myspace.com/mindoverdesigns Also don't forget the MOF MySpace at: http://www.myspace.com/mindoverfate Now, the winged figure you see in many of the MODesigns images is a very prevalent figure in MOF mythology. This is Mind, the opposing figure to Fate, the character used in MOF artwork. Let's make sure this makes sense: MOF is headed by Fate MODesigns is heading by Mind Make sense? I'm very, very proud of the way this project is shaping up, and the way it all ties together so effortlessly. It's an extremely pleasing thought to realize that I have created all of this by myself, it's my brainchild and it is very much a beautiful bouncing baby indeed. Visual art is more my shtick than musical, so it's nice to have both sides of things to work on. Now, MODesigns is a developing project in many of the same respects that MOF is. Currently MODesigns is being used for web design, soon to branch off into clothing such as t-shirts and such. Right now, the only coding available is for MySpace layouts, but as my skills with code increase, so will the options for design. The graphics I've already got the ability to create. All of this is taking a lot of time to prepare and to set up, but I'm extremely excited for the future. As well, I'm appreciative to have a place like RecCenter to house many of my thoughts and creations. I look forward to bringing this grand project to life, with every detail just like my big dreams. Over time, I hope you can look forward to seeing more of the MOF mythology expand in each of these specific mediums. There's a lot of story to be uncovered with this one.
