As I lay paralyzed and drained of energy following a crazy weekend of concerts, I will let YOU know how it went. But only you. Band I Saw, But Wish I Hadn't: I don't know if they classifies as bands but MC Hammer and Weird Al Yankovic were very bad. Keep them back in 1991, pleasssse. Band I Skipped Because I Hope They Fall Off The Planet: My Chemical Romance. I won't lie. At one time I liked these guys. But now they dumb down to the pre-teens who go to their shows. Enough for me. Band I've Known About, But Didn't Really Know About: Hellogoodbye. They put on a fun show with a really chill vibe. Most Intriguing Band: The Matches. I never heard of these guys before Sunday. They put on a good fun show with a lot of energy. I will definitely be following these guys from now on. Best Band: Muse. Maybe one of the most talented bands I've ever seen. Amazing. Funny Stories: After waiting in line for an hour for food, the girls in front of us decide they can't miss this next band (although I forget who it was). So my girlfriend says "We're going that way anyways. Do you want us to buy your food?". Surprisingly these girls hand us $40 to buy them food. YES! More beer money! So Cinco de Mayo means get drunnnnk. I brought a case of 24 Coronitas for Alex and myself to get waisted on. Don't laugh. A case of Coronitas has more beer than a case of regular Coronas, plus it's just as strong. So back to my story. We get back to the hotel at around 9:15 because we decided to skip MCR. BEER TIME! Alex and me are neck and neck after..two beers. Shower. One more beer each. Our Cinco de Mayo drunk fest was done after a combined 6 Coronitas, because we were "tired". The front row at the Say Anything stage was one of the rowdiest I've ever been part of. And I've been to my share of metal shows. People kept pushing with nowhere to go. So my girlfriend decides to punch one of them in the stomach. That was the highlight of the weekend for me. My anti-confrontational future wife belting some kid for stepping on her. HAHAHA. I promise more stories later. I'm too exhausted right now though.
