The Deadliest
Their Neon Energy Makes You Move
When asked of their recreational musical habits and affinities, So Deadly tends to answer omnivorously. “All. Everything. Everywhere.” Which, in their case, is not vague, generic, or apathetic. In fact, it’s indicative of their desire to take it all in—the color, the voices, the sounds in this world that affect them—and blow it all back out in the form of swirly, irridescent bubbles of music.
The band’s name comes from a pidgin phrase used by Hawaiian kids to call out something that is BEYOND hot(“ho brah, that chick/truck/surfboard is SO DEADLY”). Moana, a multimedia-artist who provides the visual pizazz and experiential lyrics to the band, grew up in Hawaii. She met So Deadly’s guitarist and producer, Jett Craze, at Lit on the Lower East Side. Together they created "So Deadly." Soon others joined their deadly duo. Enter Jordan Nash Wills on Drums and Andrea Leibof on Keys and Backing Vocals. Rocking solid, So Deadly is shining around parties in New York. Watch and glisten.
