definitely not every show. but when they come to the area (or basically, the east coast in general), i try to get to every show i can. just in the past year i went to 15 shows (4 on forever night never day, the nyc charity show with taking back sunday, fashion rocks, 5 nights in a row on welcome to the universe, the hfsmas holiday nutcracker with +44, 2 on taste of chaos and a solo show between the toc dates).
that's cool, about being a cd person. what makes the world go 'round, right? and i still love blink. i saw them 5 times. i've seen +44 twice now, and AVA once. and although i'm liking +44 more, i'll have to support AVA since matt (former 30 seconds to mars bassist) joined. hopefully i'll get to see them this fall after their new album comes out. |

eek, fall out boy. i don't mind them record wise....but live, they were terrible. maybe they've improved since i've seen them, i don't know. i'm more about live music than cd's, so when i see a band and nothing sounds like the cd, i really can't like them anymore. like panic! at the disco. great record....great music live, but horrible live vocals. he's getting better, but....
that's ok about mars. i got lucky in seeing them back then. i was working as a freelance photographer in la and just happened to get a gig taking shots at their show for the record label.
am i still into GC? that's a loaded question. lol. i grew up with the madden boys, so, i'll always support the band. no matter what. but now that i'm older, it's like a guilty pleasure more than being an out and out fan.

of course. i'd been debating on whether or not to get tatted up for years. i finally decided to take the designs into my own hands (instead of just getting the glyphs like everyone else), and make it about what i wanted. i wanted to remember all the good times i've had with the band (i've been going to see them since i was 14), and all the friends i've made along the way. so, less about being a sheep, and more about the memories.

it makes me feel incredibly old, but yes. you're kind of lucky not to be echelon. it is, like jared says, pretty cultish. once you're in, it's hard to get out. i'm more a mars army girl myself.
