May 2007. After going through countless experiences of personal growth, Andrew Bickers, founding member of Varekai, realized that he had a message he wanted to send out to the world. He chose music as the medium through which to do so, thus the birth of Varekai. Using personal experiences as well as the stories from around the world he found himself longing to change the world for the better. Long before the birth of Varekai, Andrew often found himself writing poems. Often plagued with a dark theme about the wrongs of the world, these poems would eventually serve as the lyrics for his musical adventure. Nervous with excitement and anticipation Andrew often found it hard to sleep at night and in these late night hours, often staying up until 6 A.M., the messages of Varekai were created... As we speak he is hard at work with the ambition of releasing a demo before Summer's end to deliver his long anticipated message. Since then he has been joined new members Jay Gearhart on guitar and David Arnold on drums. All three of the members are looking forward to the beginning of what is yet to come...
