Violent Dissmay is a horrorcore rap/metal group from Ponder Texas. In late 2001 Insane and DJ Bucon met Charles Adkins (Lil' AK) and formed VD with the principle of creating violent music. The first album was recorded when all the members were still in High School and was pretty much just a diss CD for people we knew and hated. The disses were crude and violent and thus the name, Violent Dissmay, otherwise known as: VD. VD started their musical career with pretty much no know how on recording music, we bought a cheap $20 program called Hip Hop E-Jay which used premade beats and loops all set to a tempo of 96 BPM, we couldn't even listen to the music we made, we had to do it with a mono beeping noise, we even had to cheat and use a program that simulates a turntable simply because we didn't know how to record it from the mixer. Eventually we began using Fruity Loops and Acid Pro to progress ourselves musically, now 6 years later, VD is better than it ever has been, with every thing from live guitars and bass to using real turntables a more professional sounding mics, jsut listen for yourself.
